Your Opportunity

As a Therapy Assistant, you will work both individually and as part of an interprofessional team under the supervision of audiologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, recreation therapists, or speech-language pathologists. You will contribute to effective and efficient rehabilitation services, including direct and indirect client care across various healthcare settings and patient needs, from healthy living to end-of-life care. This role requires collaboration with internal and external partners, professionalism, and strong ethics in client-centered care and team participation. You will demonstrate reflective thinking and lifelong learning to enhance individual and team competency. Opportunities include applying your interpersonal and clinical skills in quality improvement, program planning, and student supervision.

Qualifications

• Completion of a diploma from an accredited post-secondary rehabilitation Therapy Assistant program or equivalent training
• Require an OT/PT Therapy Assistant diploma and Basic Life Support certification
• Preferred qualifications as required
