Job summary

Villa Caritas in Edmonton is seeking a Therapy Assistant to support delivery of rehabilitation programs for geriatric psychiatry in an acute care setting. You will participate in assessments and help plan and lead individual or group treatments under HSAA Collective Agreement guidelines.

Responsibilities include assisting in program development and ensuring patient-centered care, with shifts during the days for a temporary full-time position available from Dec 7, 2026 to Jun 2, 2028.

Qualifications

• A directly related diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution is required.

Description: The Therapy Assistant is responsible for assisting in the delivery of therapeutic rehabilitation programs. The Therapy Assistant participates in assessment related activities as well as the planning and development of client programs which includes leading individual or group treatment and educational interventions.This position is covered by the terms and conditions of the HSAA Paramedical Professional/Technical Collective Agreement.
