Pathways to Independence is seeking a Regular Part-Time Recreation & Program Facilitator to develop and implement community programs for adults with developmental disabilities or complex needs. You will collaborate with the support team to tailor activities to each person's interests and abilities, enhancing social and living skills.

The role requires specialized education in therapeutic recreation, First Aid/CPR, and a client-centered approach, with varied hours including days and evenings.

Qualifications

• Must have post-secondary diploma/degree in human services or related field.
• Specialized education or certification in developmental disabilities or therapeutic recreation is preferred.
• Current First Aid and CPR is required.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement community recreational and educational programs for adults with developmental disabilities or complex needs.
• Collaborate with the person’s support team to create responsive programs.
• Ensure programs support social and personal living skills development.
• Maintain accurate client information and documentation.
• Participate in a positive team environment and adhere to agency guidelines.
