Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Recreational Therapist in Prince Albert at Mont St. Joseph Home.

You will deliver holistic recreational therapy programs across mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and cultural dimensions, in a 3-week shift rotation (days/evenings and weekends). Qualifications include a Therapeutic Recreation diploma and basic computer skills, with the ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Develops, plans, organizes, validates and delivers programs to enhance holistic care for clients/patients/residents.
• Supports mental, emotional, physical, spiritual and cultural wellbeing within recreational therapy.
• Collaborates with care teams to implement therapeutic activities.
