CMHA Windsor-Essex County is seeking a capable Administrative Assistant to support the Community Engagement and Mental Health Promotion teams. The role includes calendar management, event logistics, and preparing materials for health education initiatives.
Due to occasional evenings and weekends, this 35-hour workweek position offers a temporary contract through September 2027 and a competitive hourly wage for a non-profit setting in Windsor, Ontario.

Supporting Working Ontarians During Uncertain Economic Times is a special one-year initiative. This Employment Ontario project is funded by the Government of Ontario. It aims to strengthen workforce resilience by delivering workplace mental health education, clinical supports, leadership development, and employer engagement across Ontario. The project is led by CMHA Ontario in partnership with the Ontario Chamber of Commerce, CMHA Windsor-Essex County, and CMHA York Region South Simcoe.
This role provides a range of administrative services to the Community Engagement and Mental Health Promotion departments including: record keeping, scheduling, administrative support, event coordination, marketing assistance and other duties as assigned.
Due to the nature of the role, the incumbent will be required to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Hours of Work: Thirty-Five (35) hour work week. The agency’s regular hours of operation are Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexible hours are required to meet client and service needs.
Salary range: Grade 4, $23.51 – $28.59 per hour
Per 2022 - 2026 Collective Agreement
Applicable shift premiums are paid in accordance with the Collective Agreement, Article 17.11.
