General Function

We are looking for a highly skilled test automation engineer to design automation tests. Responsibilities include creating automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. The candidate should be committed to developing skills to provide up-to-date solutions.

Success in this role requires accuracy, a strong mathematical aptitude, proficiency in programming languages, and excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities

1. Design and write test automation scripts.
2. Develop comprehensive automation test plans covering critical application components.
3. Configure Selenium Test Environment (STE).
4. Participate in Selenium Environment Setup with an IDE.
5. Implement and design frameworks aligned with project structure.
6. Create, enhance, debug, and execute test cases.
7. Manage defect tracking and monitoring processes.
8. Manage changes and execute regression testing.
9. Perform load balancing and performance testing using JMeter.
10. Address object identity and error handling issues with precise solutions.
11. Manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications

1. Undergraduate degree in software engineering, computer science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. 7-10 years of experience in test automation across various frameworks and platforms, with at least 3 years in team leadership.
3. Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with ability to produce formal documentation.

Experience

1. Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.
2. Knowledge of .NET and CI/CD pipelines is advantageous.
3. Experience with Selenium automation frameworks.
4. Ability to script across desktop, mobile, and online applications.
5. Self-motivated, creative, proactive, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
6. Experience working with manual testers and testing teams throughout the SDLC.
7. Knowledge of Azure DevOps is a plus.
8. Experience in testing web applications on mobile platforms.
9. Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry.
10. Understanding of high-volume transaction systems and financial instruments like loans, underwriting, collections, and fraud.
