Job summary

L3Harris is seeking a Test & Integration Technician for a 12-month co-op position in Waterdown, Ontario. January 2027 start; program runs through December 2027. You will work on assembling systems, integration, software tuning, testing, and troubleshooting to meet customer deadlines.

Candidates must be enrolled in a Mechanical or Electronics diploma, with a strong electronics/mechanical background and experience using test equipment. Excellent communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Mechanical or Electronics tech/technologist diploma program.
• Experience reading technical drawings and schematics.
• Experience with test equipment.
• Strong customer relations and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a fully assembled system.

Tasks to be Accomplished

• Ensure a fully assembled system
• Integration, software tuning and testing of complex electromechanical devices
• Troubleshoot, rework, repairs down to the component level
• Must work to company deadlines to meet customer delivery dates
• Act as liaison with other departments
• Ensure proper documentation
• Shift work required

Skills Required

• Strong Electronics and Mechanical background
• Familiar with troubleshooting techniques and the ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with using various test equipment
• Strong professional customer relations skills
• Previous experience working within a Microsoft Office environment including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Experience & Education Requirements

• Enrolled in a Mechanical or Electronics based technician/ technologist diploma program
• Hobbies and any experience working with and troubleshooting complete electronics devices.
• Co-op experience working in a manufacturing environment and asset.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing an asset
