Job summary

Husky Technologies is seeking a Test Engineering Technologist - Process Packaging to plan, execute, and analyze system and part-quality tests for new product development initiatives in Bolton, Ontario. The role demands leadership in testing, data analysis, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The successful candidate will support development testing of materials including BioResins, rPET, Multilayer PET, and Medical applications, while helping establish pass/fail criteria and risk

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or Polymer Science preferred.
• 5+ years testing and troubleshooting complex mechanical systems.
• Experience with Plastic Processing/Part quality optimization; PET/Multilayer packaging experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Plan, Execute, Analyze and Lead on System Level and Part-Quality testing for new Product Development initiatives.
• Support development testing of new applications/materials (BioResins, rPET, Multilayer PET and Packaging, Medical, etc).
• Contribute to Process Guidelines and pass/fail criteria for new applications.
• Participate in risk identification efforts through FMEA or similar methods.
• Participate in test plan reviews to improve data reliability and product robustness.
• Support customer startups through system buyoff/acceptance and Product Launch activities.
