Job Description: We are looking for a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to support quality engineering activities for web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in test automation using Java, Rest Assured, Selenium, and Appium, with the ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across API, web, and mobile platforms.

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API testing.
• Build and enhance automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, Appium, Rest Assured, and related testing tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and end-to-end testing across application releases.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test coverage.
• Create and maintain test plans, test cases, test data, and traceability documentation.

• Hands-on experience with Appium for mobile automation testing across Android and iOS platforms.
• Experience with Rest Assured for API automation and validation of RESTful services.
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber, BDD, or similar tools.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or equivalent platforms.
• Basic understanding of SQL and database validation is preferred.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of an Agile delivery team.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• Good ownership mindset with the ability to manage priorities and deliver within timelines.
• Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and automation-first testing practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and participating in sprint ceremonies.

• Prior experience in banking, financial services, or enterprise application testing is an asset.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments and containerized test execution is preferred.
• Exposure to performance, accessibility, or security testing concepts.
