Job summary

Syngenta Canada is seeking a Territory Sales Representative for Eastern Ontario, covering the Bowmanville to Quebec border region. You will implement brand strategy, support reseller sales teams, and drive NK/Enogen campaigns with channel partners.

The role requires 2+ years in agronomic sales, a degree in Agriculture, strong relationship-building, and willingness to travel 50-60% within Eastern Ontario. Remote work is possible within the area, with English fluency and valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of agronomic sales experience within agriculture, agribusiness, or a related industry.
• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field, or equivalent agriculture industry experience.
• Strong understanding of farming operations, crop production, and grower needs.

• Implement the NK Brand strategy with customers and within Syngenta to deliver core objectives: Differentiate, Innovate, Outperform, and Leverage.
• Support and develop the NK / Enogen Brand reseller’s sales organizations while maximizing profitable net growth for the business.
• Deliver NK / Enogen seed brand campaigns and offers to targeted customers through channel partners.
• Act as a steward of the NK / Enogen seed portfolio through sound agronomic product placement recommendations while managing in-field concerns with Agronomist.
• Achieve sales, profit, and market share targets within the territory and sales area.
• Develop a profound understanding of customer needs via consultative selling, recognized expertise, and trust with customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or a related field, or equivalent agriculture industry experience.
• 2+ years of agronomic sales experience within agriculture, agribusiness, or a related industry.

• Proven ability to build customer relationships, influence decisions, and drive sales results.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data to support business decisions.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with growers, retailers, and other agricultural stakeholders.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to travel 50-60% throughout the Eastern Ontario territory, including occasional overnight travel.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Fluency in English required; bilingual French/English is considered an asset.0jjb vv
