Job Description

The Territory Manager for our Master Lock brand will generate end-user demand for all Master Lock products, cLOTO software, and services within the British Columbia territory, using a consultative sales approach as a Subject Matter Expert in Safety Lockout and portable security. You will partner with distribution peers on sales enablement opportunities to drive joint calls with end users. You will be accountable for achieving sales goals and increasing market share across all commercial channels in your territory.

The ideal candidate will have successful experience in commercial/industrial sales, be highly autonomous, and able to travel overnight approximately 3-4 nights per month. They should have a proven track record of building and maintaining strong customer relationships to generate demand.

This remote position is based in the Vancouver, BC area covering the British Columbia territory.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Sell all Master Lock products and services across all commercial trade classes within your territory.
  • Conduct sales meetings and product training sessions as directed or requested.
  • Monitor and report on market conditions, trends, customer attitudes, and economic factors, providing timely updates to management.
  • Document all sales activities, opportunities, and interactions in CRM software.
  • Attend conventions, trade shows, and dealer meetings for business development.
  • Manage the territory budget, including T&E, supplies, and administrative expenses.
  • Prepare budgets and forecasts as required.
  • Identify and penetrate end-user facilities to sell safety products, security hardware, and locker locks.
Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of field sales experience, preferably in a commercial or industrial setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and partners.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Oracle Sales Cloud).
  • Willing to travel overnight.

Nice to Have:

  • Fluent in French.
  • Experience in security or safety lockout sales.
Additional Information

The estimated base salary range is $104,000 CAD - $152,500 CAD. Compensation may vary based on experience, education, and other factors. Employees are eligible for annual bonuses or sales incentives.
