Job summary

Mars in Vancouver seeks a part-time Retail Representative to sell, distribute and merchandise Mars Snacking products at retail outlets across Pitt Meadows, Maple Ridge and northern Surrey. This 24-hour-per-week role is Mon-Wed.

Responsibilities include maintaining shelf display, stock, and planogram execution; presenting promotions; and coordinating with stores to maximize product visibility. A High School diploma and a valid Canadian driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is the minimum requirement.
• Ability to lift product up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to drive approximately 100 km daily for sales calls.
• Ability to perform repeated movements (in/out of car, bending, reaching, etc.).
• Sales experience would be an asset.
• Ability to secure vehicle insurance as determined by Mars Canada Inc.
• Valid Canadian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Sell in and maintain distribution of assigned products.
• Present display programs to customers and suggest orders.
• Present and sell booking sheets to stores.
• Ensure listed products are stocked and properly displayed with price tags.
• Replenish display fixtures and Mars Snacking racks.
• Collaborate with customers to secure secondary display space.
