Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd. in Calgary seeks a Territory Manager for the Construction and Forestry location to grow market share and deliver profitable sales of Ditch Witch and Morbark equipment within the assigned territory.

You will build long-term customer relationships, coordinate with Parts, Service, and Finance, and provide integrated solutions to meet customer needs while tracking market trends and driving ROI for clients.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience in construction, agricultural, or heavy equipment industries.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Experience in trenching, horizontal, and directional drilling considered an asset.
  • Tree cutting and clearing experience considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to maximize revenue and expand market share within the AOR.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting, networking, and responding to market trends to achieve growth targets.
  • Promote Brandt's Underground and Tree Care line to existing and potential customers to strengthen brand presence and increase sales.
  • Negotiate sales contracts and terms to ensure profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Build and maintain long-term customer relationships to ensure retention, repeat business, and referrals.
  • Collaborate with Parts, Service, and Finance departments to provide integrated solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Monitor customer operations and changing requirements to anticipate needs and provide proactive solutions.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed weekly customer status reports, including call activity, prospect lists, and opportunity tracking.
  • Coordinate equipment check-ins, upfitting, and delivery schedules with Sales Coordinators to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Complete all sales documentation, travel plans, and expense reports promptly to maintain operational accuracy and compliance.
  • Participate actively in weekly sales meetings and training sessions to stay informed on products, market trends, and company initiatives.

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Calgary Construction and Forestry location. The Underground and Tree care Territory Manager is responsible for growing market share and delivering profitable sales of Ditch Witch and Morbark equipment and solutions within an assigned territory.

Ditch Witch is a leading manufacturer of underground construction equipment used to install, maintain, and repair critical infrastructure including water, sewer, gas, electrical, telecommunications, and fiber-optic networks. The position serves customers operating in the utility construction, telecommunications, pipeline, municipal, civil construction, and infrastructure development industries. Product offerings include horizontal directional drills, trenchers, vacuum excavators, mini skid steers, locating equipment, tooling, and related technology solutions that help customers safely and efficiently construct underground infrastructure. Morbark is a leading manufacturer of industrial equipment used in the tree care, land clearing, forestry and biomass processing, recycling, and wood waste management industries. As a trusted advisor, the Territory Sales Manager works closely with contractors, forestry operators, arborists, municipalities, recycling companies, land clearing contractors, and biomass producers. As a trusted advisor, the Territory Sales Manager works closely with contractors, utility companies, municipalities, and infrastructure owners to understand their operational challenges and recommend solutions that improve productivity, reduce project costs, enhance safety, and maximize return on investment. The role is responsible not only for equipment sales, but also for developing long‑term customer relationships and supporting the complete ownership experience through parts, service, training, and product support. Success in this role is measured through sales growth, market share expansion, customer satisfaction, and the representative's ability to position Ditch Witch and Morbark as the preferred solution provider within its industry.

What You Will Be Responsible For
