TERRITORY MANAGER
At McCarthy, our Territory Managers are the backbone of all we do. As the face of our company, Territory Managers are responsible for build the lasting relationships with Veterinarians and clinic staff. Through ongoing connections in person, via conference call, phone and email our Territory Managers become the go-to contact for Veterinarian clinics across Canada.
RESPONSILBITIES
•Develop honest open lines of communication with all clinics in your designated territory
•Become a trusted resource for your clinics
•Promote and educate on our in-house line of Pharmaceutics, Rafter 8
•Identify opportunities for both our products and our vendor partners' products and actively sell clinics on our solutions
•Attend and manage McCarthy’s booth at various tradeshows
•Understand your territory, maximizing your time and efforts for best results
•Represent McCarthy and our Business partners professionally, always operate honestly and ethically
•Have fun and enjoy your work!
TASKS
•Grow McCarthy’s Market Share in your territory
•Book appointments with clinics, arrive on time and prepared for your meetings
•Prompt response to all clinic inquires
•Prepare all quotes for direct sales, and acquire proper sign off and approvals
•Participate in all team calls and events, share your expertise and experience
•Support your peers at McCarthy as part of our close-knit team
•Participate in Vendor training
COMPENSATION
McCarthy offers a competitive salary and commissions, along with covering all business expenses including travel and meals. Total Compensation varies based on experience and performance, with no cap on earnings from commissions. Expected total earnings range in your first year with McCarthy is $75,000 - $85,000.
QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate would have an RVT designation, along with clinical experience and be based in the Ottawa Region. Bilingual fluent in both French & English. Prior sales experience would be an asset. Valid driver's license and a reliable car required.
Looking for start date of September 2nd, 2025. One year contract, with potential to move into full time employment after contract period.
