Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a Territory Manager for Institutional & Specialty Gases in Brampton, Ontario. This role focuses on growing existing accounts and developing new customers within the packaged gases segment, with quota attainment and strong relationship management as core duties.

The position involves negotiating supply agreements and supporting marketing plans, launches, and pricing strategies within the territory, delivering value across multiple sectors.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in environmental, chemical or related sciences.
• Five to seven years of outside sales experience preferred.
• Experience in Specialty Gas manufacturing and applications is an asset.
• Compress gases and equipment industry experience.

The Territory Manager will be responsible for generating sales within an assigned territory of existing & new accounts. This position will be accountable for achieving quota by prospecting new customers and growing existing relationships.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will generate sales within an assigned territory by managing both existing accounts and developing new customers
• Focus on achieving your sales quota through new business development and by strengthening long-term customer relationships
• In addition, you will promote sales and provide ongoing account service to assigned and potential customers, both onsite and by phone
• Improve gross profit and overall profitability by fully understanding and positioning the company’s value propositions
• You will support and implement marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches within your territory
• Secure long-term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements with key customers
• Maintain an active list of target accounts by generating, qualifying, and following up on new business leads while monitoring competitive activity
• Also, you will ensure complete and accurate account setup and pricing data, and demonstrate products to new account customers as needed

What makes you great

• You have a post secondary degree or diploma in environmental, chemical or related sciences
• Five to seven (5-7) years of outside sales experience preferred, ensuring a robust background in sales
• Experience in Specialty Gas manufacturing and applications is an asset, enhancing your expertise in the field
