Job summary

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Fort McMurray Construction and Forestry location. You will be responsible for creating and developing new accounts, building and maintaining strong relationships, and achieving sales targets for New and Used Wholegoods with rental options.

The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, plus the ability to travel and manage a robust sales pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Sales experience and/or knowledge of heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to prospect new accounts and build relationships.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel; valid driver's license and passport required.
  • Being bilingual English & French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Create and develop new accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets as set by Brandt.
  • Develop a comprehensive sales pipeline of opportunities.
  • Promote and sell New & Used Wholegoods; including rental options.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and industry awareness.
  • Submit weekly lost sales reports to management.

Brandt Tractor Ltd is currently seeking a Territory Manager for our Fort McMurray Construction and Forestry location.

The Territory Manager - Construction and Forestry role is vital in the creation, fostering, and growing of Customer relationships within the defined area of responsibility (AOR) with the goal of increasing sales and rental revenue of New and Used Wholegoods.

What You Will Be Responsible For
  • New account creation and development.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential Customers.
  • Achieve Sales targets as set out by the Company.
  • Continuous development of a comprehensive Sales Pipeline of immediate/future Customer opportunities.
  • Promote & sell all types of New & Used Wholegoods assigned to role.
  • Promote rental and rental purchase of New and Used Wholegoods.
  • Understand and apply Machine and Company Feature, Advantage, Benefit statements to drive sales success.
  • Deliver continuous Prospecting activity and development of new accounts.
  • Keep current on product knowledge and industry (competitive) models.
  • Actively participate in and promote Brandt during industry events as required.
  • Maintain accurate records of Sales activities, Customer interactions, and Quotations.
  • Submit lost sales reports on a timely basis. Lost sales reports are to be filled out on all lost sales and submitted on a weekly basis to the manager. These are a must to receive, as competitive pricing is required by John Deere.
What We Look For
  • Sales industry experience and/or a comprehensive knowledge of heavy equipment considered an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and prospect new accounts.
  • Ability to present and negotiate with potential customers.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious and energetic entrepreneurial outlook.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft office suite.
  • Must be available to travel as needed; a recent driver's abstract and valid passport are required.
  • Being bilingual (English & French) is considered an asset.
