Job summary

Reporting to the Territorial Director of Health, Safety and Wellbeing, the role develops policies, standards, and training to ensure regulatory compliance and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• University degree in health and safety or related focus.
• CRSP designation is an asset.
• Minimum of 7 years of related experience, including consulting experience.
• Experience as an H&S Specialist/advisor in a national/multi-provincial organization.
• Experience launching online processes integrated into H&S/HRIS systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Territorial Health and Safety Program across the organization.
• Monitor legislative changes and update programs to maintain compliance and reduce risk.
• Lead portfolio initiatives, timelines, and communication plans for program delivery.
• Provide SME guidance on health and safety matters to strengthen processes and solutions.
• Establish metrics and reporting to assess program success and drive improvements.
• Partner with leaders to interpret and apply health and safety policies.
