Perform activities related to the receipt and shipping of all products and additives at the site. Perform functions relating to site operations, ensuring the reliability of equipment and the supply/delivery system. Operate, maintain and repair site facilities in a safe, efficient, cost effective and environmentally sound manner. Participate in activities which contribute to site safety and security, environmental protection, quality and business controls, in a manner consistent with the principals of operational excellence.
Tasks And Responsibilities
- Performs duties relative to the maintenance, repair and operation of the facility. May be required to assist maintenance personnel with repairs to electrical and mechanical equipment on the systems.
- Participates in after-hours callout to troubleshoot as the need arises for operational and mechanical issues and emergency response.
- Assists and supports the Site Manager by participating in assessments, inspections, and initiatives as required.
- Assists with the completion of all sites assigned tasks in compliance with PDM procedures.
- Provides direction, training and mentoring to junior employees and contractors
- Responds to breakdown and equipment failures as required
- Contributes to budget preparation and cost reporting
- Supports site management in assessing staffing requirements based on experience and forecasted demands.

Skills And Qualifications
- In depth knowledge of measurement practices
- Strong computer skills including Excel and Word.
- Excellent understanding of product quality requirements
- Secondary/ High School Diploma or college level degree or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum 100% of assigned Stage 3 Training per GMT Standards
- Experience as a Terminal Operator
- Extensive knowledge of the applicable rules, regulations and standards for the operation
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Works independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrates leadership skills
- Valid Driver’s License
- Excellent mechanical aptitude.
