You will lead the administration of forest tenures and assist in planning and implementing related forestry activities. Working with our team of forest professionals, you will provide leadership and mentorship to help develop team members. This position is based in beautiful Terrace, BC, a family-oriented community with many amenities and access to arts, culture, and outdoor activities such as fishing, skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. Most work is local, making it ideal for those who prefer to be home every night.
Westland Resources provides natural resource management services to clients throughout Northwest BC. We manage four forest licences, two forestry licences to cut, two woodlots, a tree farm licence, and future Treaty lands. With over 20 years of experience, we offer strategic, tactical, and operational advice, research, assessments, development, permitting, operational implementation, monitoring, supervision, economic and community development, and problem-solving services.

Westland offers a competitive salary ($83,000 - $109,000/year), comprehensive benefits, profit sharing, pension allowance, coverage of professional dues, allowances for personal equipment and moving, flexible work schedules, professional development opportunities, and a minimum signing bonus of $1500 after a 90-day probation.
