University of Saskatchewan, in the Edwards School of Business, invites applications for a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Accounting. Start date negotiable, with July 1, 2027 preferred.

The candidate will join a research-intensive environment and publish in peer-reviewed outlets while teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in accounting. Preference given to expertise in financial accounting, reporting, sustainability, or taxation, and to research in judgment and decision

• Possessing a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation is an asset.

Job Summary

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the University of Saskatchewan with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027 (or negotiable).

The successful candidate will join a research intensive environment and will be expected to contribute to excellence in research and scholarship through high quality peer reviewed publications in their areas of expertise. Preferred candidates will have their primary research interest in financial accounting and reporting, sustainability reporting, or taxation, along with a desire to teach these subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels. All research methodologies will be considered with a preference for expertise in judgment and decision making research methods.
