Tenure Track Position in Accounting – University of Saskatchewan – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

Salary: Ranks and salary will be based on academic and professional qualifications, experience. Closing date: Sep 29, 2026.

Role Type: Faculty, Professor. Role Level: Faculty, Assistant. Education Level: PhD / Doctorate. Certifications: CPA – Certified Public Accountant.

Job Summary

Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a full-time tenure track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Accounting at the University of Saskatchewan with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027 (or negotiable).

The successful candidate will join a research intensive environment and will be expected to contribute to excellence in research and scholarship through high quality peer reviewed publications in their areas of expertise. Preferred candidates will have their primary research interest in financial accounting and reporting, sustainability reporting, or taxation, along with a desire to teach these subjects at the undergraduate and graduate levels. All research methodologies will be considered with a preference for expertise in judgment and decision making research methods.
