Job summary

The Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in Large Animal Internal Medicine. The position emphasizes teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs, clinical service in the large animal hospital, and scholarly activity.

The successful candidate will join a DACVIM/ACVIM team, participate in emergency duties, and contribute to research on bovine diseases, antimicrobial stewardship, and mastitis

Qualifications

• DVM (or equivalent) degree required.
• Eligible for ACVIM/ECEIM board certification or eligibility.
• Eligible for licensure with Prince Edward Island Veterinary Medical Association.
• Member of the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association.

Responsibilities

• Teach in undergraduate and graduate programs.
• Provide clinical service in large-animal internal medicine.
• Engage in university service and scholarly research.
• Participate in out-of-hours hospital duties as part of the large animal team.
