Job summary

L'Université Laval recherche un enseignant en prosthodontie pour la Faculté de médecine dentaire. Le candidat retenu enseignera aux niveaux prédoctoraux et postdoctoraux, participera à la recherche et contribuera au développement de la recherche clinique en prosthodontie.

Qualifications

• Compétences en enseignement de la prosthodontie fixe, amovible et implantaire.
• Expérience en recherche et capacité à contribuer à la recherche clinique.
• Capacité à enseigner en français ou engagement à respecter la clause de francisation.

Responsibilities

• Enseigner aux niveaux prédoctoraux et postdoctoraux en prosthodontie.
• Contribuer au développement de la recherche clinique.
• Participer aux activités intramuros de la faculté.

Job Description

The responsibilities for this position will include teaching at the predoctoral and postdoctoral levels, research, and service activities in the field of prosthodontics at the Faculté de médecine dentaire de l’Université Laval and contributing to the development of clinical research and knowledge in this area. The position also includes the opportunity to participate in the faculty intramural practice.

Selection criterias

Candidates should be competent in preclinical and clinical teaching of fixed, removable and implant prosthodontics. Research experience and ability to contribute to clinical research and to collaborate with other researchers in different fields will be highly considered.

Applicants must have

• a DMD or DDS;
• a regular license to practice dentistry from the Québec Order of Dentists, or be eligible for it;
• a Certificate in prosthodontics recognized by the Québec Order of Dentists, or commit to obtain one;
• a Master of Science degree (minimal requirement), or commit to obtain one;
• the ability to teach in French or committed to Université Laval's francization clause for this within reasonable time.
