The Accounting and Information Systems (AIS) Division of the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver Campus) invites applications for up to two tenure-track faculty positions in Accounting. Preference will be given to applications at the Assistant Professor rank, but applications at the Associate Professor rank will also be considered.
Job Qualifications: Applicants should have completed or be nearing completion of a Ph.D. in Accounting and demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching or a record of outstanding research and teaching appropriate to the rank. Applications in any area of accounting are encouraged.
Job Description: Responsibilities include developing and maintaining an active research program, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, supervising Ph.D. students, and contributing to other teaching and administrative initiatives within the Division and the Sauder School of Business. Teaching and service duties are aligned with those at other research-intensive universities.
The appointment is available starting July 1, 2026, or January 1, 2027, subject to budget approval. The expected salary range is $220,000-$300,000 annually.
