Job summary

Nordex Group Canada is seeking a Tender Manager to support the development and delivery of clean energy solutions. You will collaborate with the local Sales team and Project Management to manage tenders, negotiate contracts, and assess risks affecting project quotes and execution.

The role requires strong negotiation, cost estimation, and cross-functional coordination, with travel to project sites and potential international assignments. A relevant degree and 5+ years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field (business/project management, industrial/sales engineering).
• 5+ years of professional experience in contract negotiations for large-scale industrial projects with PM terms.
• 2+ years in other PM roles (e.g., Project/Site manager, contract manager).
• Strong in critical thinking and ability to develop creative solutions.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead contract negotiations during the sales phase focusing on PM terms, milestones, testing procedures, and change orders.
• Identify risks, evaluate mitigations, and present solutions to the Gate Process for approvals.
• Provide cost calculations for on-site execution including staff, tooling/equipment, and resources.
• Coordinate project schedules between customers and internal departments (manufacturing, logistics).
• Represent Nordex to clients to build trust and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Liaise with Engineering, Purchasing, Service and Legal during tendering phase.
• Conduct thorough handovers to transfer essential knowledge to the execution team.
• Other related duties as assigned.
