Job summary

Suncor Energy is seeking a Recruiter for a 6-month temporary role based in our Fort McMurray office. You will collaborate with hiring leaders and HR peers to drive end-to-end recruitment and create a positive, results-driven environment.

You will craft engaging job ads, evaluate candidates, and guide leaders through the hiring process, conducting behavioral interviews and presenting compelling offers. This role offers a stable 40-hour work week in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Three years of in-house, full cycle recruitment experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related discipline, or equivalent years experience.
• Strong proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems.
• Ability to assess talent and coach leaders to fill vacant roles.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with hiring leaders, HR partners, and fellow recruiters to achieve hiring goals and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Build trust and rapport with hiring leaders while guiding them through the end-to-end recruitment process.
• Craft engaging job ads to attract the right talent for the role.
• Evaluate candidate qualifications in relation to position requirements to determine a successful match.
• Conduct behavioral-based interviews to assess knowledge, skills, experience and aptitude against the vacancy.
• Build accurate offer letters to articulate our employee value proposition to prospective new hires.
• Maintain a well-organized requisition portfolio, ensuring priorities, timelines, and candidate activity are managed efficiently.

Location and other Key Details:

• This is a temporary position for a period of6 months
• This is an office based role and you will work out of our Fort McMurray Stoney Creek office
• Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday
