Job summary

The Infrastructure, Transportation and Parks Department of The Corporation of the City of North Vancouver is seeking a temporary full-time Project Coordinator in the Public Realm Infrastructure team for about two years. You will lead and support transportation and paving projects, prepare plans, coordinate community engagement, tendering and project management for varied scales.

Qualifications

• University degree in civil engineering or related areas with professional design experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Training and/or experience in project management and graphic design are highly valued assets.
• Experience in MMCD contract management will be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Design and prepare plans for transportation projects.
• Lead related community engagement processes.
• Tendering and project management for projects at a range of scales.
• Conduct field inspections to ensure work complies with contracts.
• Maintain reports, records and project-related materials.
• Provide high levels of project administrative support to project managers.
