Job summary

Westside in Calgary, AB seeks a temporary part-time custodian to support our facilities. You will perform routine cleaning, disinfect washrooms and break rooms, empty trash, and restock supplies across common areas.

The role is up to 16 hours per week, Saturday and Sunday evenings, with a one-year term and potential extension. Certification in CSA Z1210-17 IFA and WHMIS, plus current First Aid/CPR/AED, are required.

Qualifications

• Current Standard First Aid/CPR/AED certification is required.
• Previous custodian experience is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 22 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting.
• Clean and disinfect washrooms, change rooms, locker rooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal.
• Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Assist with event setup and furniture arrangement as needed.

EMPLOYMENT TERM

This is a temporary part-time position offering up to 16 hours per week. The position is a one-year term with the possibility of extension and requires availability for Saturday and Sunday evening shifts.
