Library Technicians support and assist in the development, organization and maintenance of the school library. Library Technicians are valuable members of a team which collaborate to promote student learning, well-being and success.
This position is a temporary part-time position of 6.5 hours alternating days in accordance with the Library Technician school calendar.
The position commences on August 24, 2026 and expires June 29, 2027. The work schedule will be scheduled by the Principal or designate. Rest periods will be scheduled in accordance with the current collective bargaining agreement.
The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $21.53- $26.52 plus applicable vacation pay.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record and vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
