Job summary

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a temporary part-time Educational Assistant (EA) at Yorkdale Central School in Yorkton, SK. This assignment is 5.5 hours per day and runs from August 27, 2026 to June 29, 2027, with the work schedule determined by the school.

The successful candidate will have a Grade 12 diploma, the ability to work well in a team, and support for students including those with mobility or personal care needs, while maintaining confidentiality.

The Good Spirit School Division invites applications for a temporary part-time Educational Assistant (EA) at Yorkdale Central School in Yorkton, SK. Assignment and Term: This position is a temporary part-time position of 5.5 hours/day in accordance with the Educational Assistant school calendar. The position commences August 27, 2026 and expires June 29, 2027. The work schedule will be determined.

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent.
• Acute attention to detail, adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work as a team member will be considered assets.
• Assist the classroom teacher to support learning with all students in the classroom.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all information pertaining to a child, classroom and the school
• Provide assistance to students with mobility needs and/or who require personal care.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will be paid on a monthly basis at an hourly rate from $21.00 - $25.79* plus applicable vacation pay. Benefits include the Employees Benefits Plan and Municipal Employees' Pension Plan if enrollment is chosen and opportunities to attend professional development seminars.
