  • Monitor food quality, portioning, and presentation
  • Help minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with Food Services colleagues to ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule
  • Assist with cleaning and other kitchen duties as needed

Part-Time | Temporary Leave Coverage

Queen Margaret’s School (QMS) is seeking a reliable, experienced, and team-oriented Cook to join our Food Services team on a temporary, part-time basis.

This position is providing coverage for an employee on leave. The leave is expected to be extended, and there is currently no confirmed end date. The successful candidate should therefore be comfortable with a temporary assignment that may continue for a significant period of time.

About the Role

As a Cook at QMS, you will help prepare and serve nutritious, appealing meals for students and staff while supporting the safe, efficient, and welcoming operation of our kitchen and dining services.

Working alongside other members of the Food Services team, you will contribute to meal preparation, food safety, cleanliness, and the day-to-day needs of a busy school kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
