The Good Spirit School Division #204 is seeking a Temporary Bus Driver in the Yorkton area to transport students safely and punctually. This role is part-time and requires supervision of students during transit as well as adherence to all safety guidelines.

Location is Yorkton, Saskatchewan, with immediate start through February 2, 2027. A valid S endorsement and clean driving record are required; a criminal record check may be requested before offer of employment.

• Clean drivers abstract.

Route: Ykn 9 - Hwy 10 to Cherrydale into Yorkton - Assigned to Yorkton Bus Garage

The duties of a Bus Driver are to:

• Support safe, positive environments for students.


• Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety.


• Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading.


• Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided.


• Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description: Bus Driver

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent


• A valid driver’s license with \"S\" endorsement.


• Clean drivers abstract.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record that includes a vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
