Job summary

The Good Spirit School Division in Preeceville is seeking a Temporary Bus Driver to transport students safely and on time. The role covers supervising students during transit and assisting with boarding and unloading, with duties assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager.

Immediate start through June 25, 2027, in a part-time capacity. Minimum qualifications include Grade 10 or equivalent, a valid S-endorsed license, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

The duties of a Bus Driver are to:

• Support safe, positive environments for students.
• Ensure student transportation is provided with due regard for safety.
• Provide supervision of students during transit and assist in supervision during boarding and unloading.
• Keep students on the bus until regular school supervision is provided.
• Other duties as assigned by the Principal or Transportation Manager and those listed in Job Description:Bus Driver

The successful candidate will have the desired qualifications:

• Minimum Grade 10 Education or equivalent
• A valid driver’s license with "S" endorsement.

Applicants not currently working for GSSD will be required to submit a recent (within the last six months) criminal record that includes a vulnerable sector check acceptable to the Board of Education prior to offer of employment.
