Contract Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island $17.50/hr Industrial

Are you passionate about plants and looking for a unique hands-on experience in the exciting cannabis industry? We’re hiring Temporary Harvesters to work with our client, one of Prince Edward Island's premier cannabis producers for a short-term assignment.

THE ROLE

As a harvester, you'll be responsible for taking down, bucking, and trimming plants both by hand and with equipment; recognizing defects; and completing routine and deep cleaning of equipment and the work area.

REQUIREMENTS

• Clear Criminal Background Check
• Clean-shaven and able to wear a respirator
• Familiar with production line work and basic hand tools
• Strong manual dexterity skills and attention to detail
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and work in hot / humid or cool environments, performing repetitive tasks for duration of shift

WHAT WE OFFER

• $17.50/hour + 4% vacation pay with prompt weekly pay through direct deposit
• Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm schedule
• Occupational Health & Safety training
