Position: Temporary Full-Time Junior High Science and Math Teacher

This position involves teaching Junior High Science and Math, starting August 25, 2025, and ending June 26, 2026.

We Are Seeking a Teacher Who:
  • Builds strong rapport with students and fosters a safe, caring learning environment;
  • Works collaboratively as part of an energetic instructional team;
  • Creates engaging lessons through effective planning and pedagogy;
  • Forms positive relationships with staff, students, and parents;
  • Possesses strong organizational and classroom management skills;
  • Provides an engaging environment for students from diverse backgrounds, including at-risk and educationally disengaged students;
  • Has a passion for working with ethnically diverse students, including First Nations, Métis, and Inuit students;
  • Is knowledgeable about current assessment practices;
  • Has experience with the latest Alberta High School Curriculum.

The successful candidate must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. Salary will be based on qualifications and experience.
