Job summary

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division is seeking a temporary full-time Educational Assistant for Blessed Sacrament Outreach School in Wainwright, Alberta. The successful candidate will support students from Grade 10 to Grade 12 and work closely with teachers to bolster learning in various subjects.

Temporary Full-time Educational Assistant

East Central Alberta Catholic Separate School Division invites applications for the position of a temporary full-time Educational Assistant at Blessed Sacrament Outreach School in Wainwright, Alberta.

The educational assistant will be supporting students from Grade 10 to Grade 12. The following credentials/skills would be considered an asset for this position:

• Experience working with high school students.
• Experience and willingness to work with students in a variety of subject areas.
• Ability to be adaptable and flexible.
• Experience building relationships with students who may present challenging behaviors.
• Capable of working in a team and collaborating with staff in a dynamic school environment.

The position starts as soon as a suitable candidate is found, and the contract will terminate on June 28, 2027. This position is subject to the ECCS-CUPE (Canadian Union of Public Employees) Support Staff Collective Agreement. Catholic and non-Catholic applicants are welcome.
