Job summary

Windsor Essex Community Health Centre (Leamington Site) is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for a maternity leave backfill, temporary full-time position (35 hours/week).

The role requires performing physical assessments, health education and counselling in line with CNO standards, and supporting the Refugee Health program in collaborating with an inter-professional team across Windsor-Essex County. Travel between sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Practical Nursing from an accredited college.
• RPANO membership preferred.
• Current CPR (Level C) certificate required.
• Police clearance and vulnerable sector check prior to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments and health counselling per CNO standards.
• Support Refugee Health program as part of the care team.
• Participate in public speaking and community partnerships.
• Maintain clinical and office areas and documentation.
