Job summary

Affinity Credit Union is seeking an Accounting Analyst who will play a key role in delivering regular reporting, budget planning, and process improvements to support organizational goals.

You will review financial statements, assist with annual growth planning, and handle government reporting and reconciliations. The role focuses on research, analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance member value and business growth.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field, plus 3 years of related experience or an equivalent combination.
• Intermediate experience in financial reporting and accounting standards.
• Working knowledge of reporting and accounting software.
• Ability to conduct leading practice research to discover, analyze, and innovate.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze preliminary consolidated financial statements and prepare the year-end audit file.
• Assist with the creation of the annual growth plan.
