Job summary

The Renfrew County District School Board is hiring two Temporary Educational Support Personnel to support students at Eganville and District Public School. Positions are 100% FTE (35 hours per week) with immediate start through June 28, 2027, subject to funding.

Qualifications include a minimum two-year community college diploma in social services (DSW/CYW/SSW) or an equivalent combination. Duties include toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning and mobility assistance.

The Renfrew County District School Board

requires the following

Temporary Educational Support Personnel X2

SCHOOL: Eganville and District Public School, Eganville

FTE: 100% (35 hours per week)

TERM: Immediately to June 28, 2027 (subject to funding)

QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum two year community college diploma in the social services field (e.g. DSW, CYW, SSW), or an equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable to the Board. (Transcripts may be requested to support relevant course detail.)

Applicants must have a proven ability and willingness to perform the essential duties of an Educational Support Personnel, including toileting, diapering, feeding, lifting, transferring, positioning and providing assistance with mobility.

Other Relevant Training That Would Be An Asset

• Autism Spectrum Disorder Training
• Behaviour Management Systems (BMS)
• Lifting training
• WHMIS certification
• Collaborative and Proactive Solutions (CPS)
• Prior experience using computer supports and adaptive/assistive technology is an asset

Hiring will follow the requirements outlined in the Collective Agreement for the Educational Support Personnel and the RCDSB Administrative Procedures. The Board reserves the right not to fill a position.
