Job summary

TalentSphere Staffing Solutions Inc. seeks an Operations & Inventory Coordinator in Brantford, ON. This temporary role supports material flow, production planning, inventory control, and shipping/receiving, acting as a link between production, operations, sales, and logistics.

You will help ensure accurate inventory, scheduling, documentation, and material movement, with potential to transition to permanent based on performance.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in shipping and receiving, inventory control, production coordination, logistics, or related operational role.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, warehouse, or distribution operations.
• Hands-on experience in warehouse, yard, or production operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, material movement, and operational coordination.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Experience working with ERP and inventory management or similar systems.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a changing environment.
• Post-secondary education in Operations, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related discipline is preferred.
• Health and safety training is considered an asset.
• Available to start quickly and interested in a temporary opportunity with potential to become permanent.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound shipments with carriers and internal teams to schedule pickups and deliveries.
• Prepare and maintain accurate shipping and receiving documentation.
• Verify shipments against orders and ensure materials are properly identified and recorded.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within ERP and inventory systems.
• Track raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and resolve issues with Operations and Finance.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify potential shortages or excess inventory.
• Assist in developing and maintaining daily and weekly production schedules.
• Coordinate with Production to align output with customer orders, shipping priorities, and material availability.
