The Town of Stony Plain is currently recruiting a temporary full-time Heavy Equipment Operator. Reporting to the Foreman, Roads, this position will be responsible for asphalt and gravel road maintenance including ditches, culverts and bridges, ice control, snow removal, street sweeping, dust control, pavement marking, sidewalks and traffic control devices. The Operator will also assist other divisions as required.

This is a temporary position with an expected end date of December 31, 2026, with the possibility of an extension. Based on a 40-hour work week, the wage for this position will be in accordance with the International Union of Operating Engineers, Local 955 Collective Agreement.
