The Palliser School Division invites applications for a temporary, full-time Educational Assistant (Complexity Teams) at Vulcan Prairieview Elementary School in Vulcan, Alberta. The position supports Kindergarten to Grade 6 students, starting November 2, 2026, through June 30, 2027, with 975.75 annual hours and a strong focus on student safety and inclusive education.

Qualifications include a post-secondary certificate in child care/development or healthcare with practicum, plus CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized post-secondary certificate in child care/development or healthcare with practicum experience.
• Equivalent combinations of related education and related experience may be considered.
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR certificates (Child CPR an asset).

Responsabilités

• Ensures student safety for self and others.
• Collaborates with the classroom teacher to address academic, language, and social-emotional needs.
• Supports data collection to demonstrate student progress.
• Contributes to IPP planning and participates in meetings with families as needed.
• Communicates with learning team and supports supervision during breaks and field trips.
• Performs other related duties as required.
