Job summary

Kal Tire in Canada is seeking a Front Counter Sales Representative to be the first point of contact for customers and help them choose products and services while keeping operations smooth. This is a temporary full-time position for the duration of the contract, with shifts that may include weekends.

You will greet customers, prepare quotes, process invoices, and coordinate with the shop team to ensure a seamless, safe customer experience.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service and sales experience.
• Interest in automotive is an asset.
• Able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong communication with a customer-first approach.
• Able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license is an asset.

As a Front Counter Sales Representative, you’ll be the first point of contact in the store—helping customers choose the right products and services while keeping things moving. This is a temporary position with full-time hours for the duration of the contract.

You’ll be part of a team that works together, supports each other, and delivers a consistent experience for every customer.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with product and service inquiries
• Prepare quotes, explain options clearly, and support sales decisions
• Complete vehicle check-ins, including gathering mileage, tire condition, and service details (outdoors in all weather)
• Look up parts, pricing, and availability using internal systems
• Prepare invoices and process transactions accurately
• Answer calls, book appointments, and maintain accurate customer records
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Work closely with the shop team to ensure a smooth customer experience

Requirements

• Previous customer service and sales experience
• Interest in automotive (tires, basic vehicle knowledge, or parts lookup is an asset)
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strong communication skills with a practical, customer-first approach
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license is an asset
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs as required
• Team-oriented and committed to working safely
