Golden Horn Elementary School in the Yukon is seeking an Education Assistant to support student learning and inclusion within a dynamic K-12 setting. The role is 1.0 FTE with an ASAP start and a December 18, 2026 end date.
You will work closely with teachers, support staff and students, including those with diverse needs. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, adaptability and a commitment to experiential learning in a school community.

We strive to use the best research-driven teaching methods that foster learner agency and student-led learning experiences.

Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
Experience working with youth
Experience working with youth with special needs would be considered an asset
Post-secondary training in educational assistant, exceptionality worker, special education assistant, or a related field would be considered an asset
