Codentrel, a technology solutions provider based in Mississauga, is seeking a skilled Telecom Analyst – IT to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting mobile device operations, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth telecom operations for the organization.

The position includes hands-on device support (Samsung/BlackBerry), configuration/upgrades for Android devices, collaboration with Service Desk, and occasional travel.

Qualifications

  • Education: College diploma or university degree in a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in telecom-related roles; industry experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and customer service orientation required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on support for Samsung and BlackBerry devices, hardware/software troubleshooting.
  • Offer excellent customer service with strong organizational, written and verbal skills (French is a plus).
  • Assist with configuration, upgrades, and updates for Android smartphones as per policy.
  • Perform general telecom maintenance and support, including deployments and troubleshooting.
  • Diagnose and resolve mobile device and app issues; escalate as needed.
  • Collaborate with Service Desk to complete requests based on priority.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct product testing as required.
  • Maintain readiness with occasional travel and after-hours availability.

Codentrel, a technology solutions provider based in Mississauga, is seeking a skilled Telecom Analyst – IT to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting mobile device operations, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and ensuring smooth telecom operations for the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Provide hands-on support for Samsung and BlackBerry mobile devices, including hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Deliver excellent customer service with strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills (French language skills are an asset)
  • Assist with configuration, upgrades, and updates (OS, firmware, patches) for Android smartphones in line with company requirements
  • Perform general telecom maintenance and support, including client assistance, new deployments, and troubleshooting
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to mobile devices and applications, escalating when required
  • Collaborate with the Service Desk to complete requests according to priority
  • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Conduct product testing as needed
  • Maintain operational readiness, including occasional travel and after-hours availability
Requirements

Education & Certification:

  • College diploma or university degree in a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience (telecom industry experience preferred but not mandatory)
Technical Skills & Knowledge
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office, Windows OS, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange Server, Active Sync, and mobile device management
  • Proven operational support experience and solution implementation
  • Familiarity with Telematics Technology is an asset
  • Proficiency with core software applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with BI tools such as Power BI is an advantage

Work Conditions
