Job summary

Air Canada in Dorval, QC is seeking a Project Manager, Technology to lead IT projects across all lifecycle phases, ensuring alignment with schedule, scope and budget. You will drive risk management, coordinate stakeholders, and deliver quality outcomes for complex technical initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking and the ability to mentor teams in a fast-paced aviation tech environment. Bilingualism is preferred by Air Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience managing complex projects.
• Certification in Project Management by a recognized organization required.
• Experience in Agile and Scrum methodologies highly preferred.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate succinctly.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple technology projects from inception to final implementation.
• Oversee day-to-day project management to ensure scope, quality and financials.
• Engage stakeholders to define outcomes and secure buy-in.
• Define business and technical requirements and sign off on deliverables.
• Maintain a master project roadmap with timelines, owners and dependencies.
• Communicate project status to sponsors, product owners and managers.
• Coordinate work breakdowns, tasks, timelines and changes.
• Track budget, forecasts and spend; explain variances and approve invoices.
• Establish project performance measures and QA standards.
• Collaborate with other PMs to align timelines and interdependencies.
• Create reports and presentations on project development and status.
• Elevate risks to appropriate management levels when needed.
• Support governance practices, including risks, issues and change logs.
• Provide guidance on project management best practices and mentor peers.
