Job description

Job Title: Technology Lead Business Analyst

The Technology Lead Business Analyst is a senior-level position responsible for liaising between business users and technologists to exchange information in a concise, logical, and understandable manner in coordination with the Technology team. The overall goal of this role is to contribute to continuous iterative exploration and investigation of business performance and other measures to gain insights and drive business planning.

Responsibilities:
  1. Develop creative technical solutions to meet business needs and manage complex, high-volume applications in partnership with business partners and stakeholders.
  2. Develop and recommend solutions that conform to enterprise standards.
  3. Support operations, business, and clients in evaluating and articulating the benefits of solutions to senior stakeholders across the region.
  4. Influence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions.
  5. Oversee development scope and metrics as per project quality standards.
  6. Understand industry technology trends, their impact on future solutions, and provide strategic direction for the development community.
  7. Serve as a single point of contact (SPOC) for assigned projects for stakeholders in business, operations, and technology divisions across upstream and downstream organizations.
  8. Utilize in-depth knowledge of concepts and functions within own area, with good knowledge of finance and risk areas, to resolve issues.
  9. Integrate knowledge of applications development with the overall technology function to achieve established goals.
  10. Negotiate and influence senior leaders across business, operations, and partner functions.
  11. Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Data Office, Data Governance Leads, Risk, Finance, Treasury, Vendors, Global Functions, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise and regulatory work.
Qualifications:
  1. 6-10 years of experience in business analysis or systems analysis.
  2. Strong background in the financial domain.
  3. Proficient in SQL for querying, analyzing, and troubleshooting data.
  4. Excellent data analysis and mapping skills.
  5. Experience with Oracle and Big Data tools such as Python and Spark.
  6. Data-oriented with excellent attention to detail.
  7. Experience in data management.
  8. Understanding of business process reengineering, business modeling concepts, and systems development lifecycle.
  9. Strong analytical and writing skills, with experience in writing functional and technical specifications.
  10. Good communication skills with assertiveness.
Education:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; Master's degree preferred.
