Qualifications:
  • Valid BC Teachers Certificate
  • Member of the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch
  • A Bachelor of Education degree (Technology or Industrial Education concentration) or academic equivalent
  • Qualified/experienced in teaching Technology Education (Carpentry)
  • Carpentry Certificate of Qualification with Red Seal endorsement
  • Experience teaching at the Secondary level, including Technology Education 9, Skills Exploration 10-12, and Carpentry
  • Knowledge of effective literacy and numeracy practices and development
  • Knowledge and experience in personalizing learning for all students
  • Ability and willingness to work in a technologically rich learning environment
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Record Search as carried out through the Ministry of Education Teacher Regulation Branch
  • Commitment to creating a safe and caring learning environment

Compensation:
  • Salary as per Teachers' Collective Agreement. Current salary range is $57,984.00 to $107,490.00 annually plus comprehensive benefits package.
