This role follows a full-time hybrid work arrangement. Work is generally performed at Purolator facilities on Meadowpine Boulevard in Mississauga.
We are seeking a hands‑on senior software engineer who can solve complex backend and cloud challenges while contributing across the full stack. The successful candidate will take ownership from technical design through production deployment, work on high‑volume customer‑facing applications, mentor developers and help shape technical direction.
Purolator Digital Channels is part of Purolator's IT organization and is responsible for developing and engineering customer‑facing applications. Our goal is to deliver reliable, scalable digital solutions that support Purolator's position as Canada's leading freight, parcel and logistics provider.
The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex technical problems, takes ownership from design through production and is committed to clean, maintainable and well‑tested software. They are comfortable working across Java, Python, Angular and AWS; mentoring teammates; improving engineering practices; and balancing delivery speed with quality, security and operational reliability.
Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
