Key Function: Core Banking Technology

This group manages technology that drives core banking capabilities. Currently, it is undergoing a multi-year transformation to modernize infrastructure, support growth, and meet regulatory demands globally. We seek talented technologists to help build the future of our global banking platform and support existing systems. Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver banking features and services.
3. Analyze and document core banking functions such as CASA, loans, payments, and deposits.
4. Conduct gap and impact analysis on existing products and workflows.
5. Participate in requirement analysis for core banking modules.
6. Implement automated tests with tools like JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or Cucumber.
7. Contribute to coding, reviews, and refactoring to uphold engineering standards.
8. Serve as SME to stakeholders across business, operations, and technology divisions.
9. Experience with industry core banking platforms (e.g., Flexcube, PISMO) is required.
10. Maintain documentation and follow secure coding practices in compliance with regulations.

Qualifications

1. 6-10 years of experience with Java (8+) and Spring Boot.
2. 5+ years as a business analyst in banking or financial services.
3. Proficiency in RESTful API development and integration.
4. Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, Cucumber, RestAssured).
5. Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Docker.
6. Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., Flexcube, Finalce) is a plus.
7. Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate).
8. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
9. Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
10. Excellent problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments.
