Irving Shipbuilding in Halifax is looking for a Production Engineering Technologist to design and plan processes for high-quality ship delivery. You'll work within the Production Engineering team, developing temporary service solutions that enhance production efficiency across various projects.

As a Production Engineering Technologist, you will play a key role in designing and planning the processes, tools, and temporary systems required to build and deliver high-quality ships.
Working within the Production Engineering Shipyard team, you will focus on developing and coordinating temporary service solutions that enable safe and efficient production activities across new construction and ship repair initiatives.
This role requires strong collaboration across Production, Planning, Safety, Procurement, and Engineering teams to ensure temporary services are seamlessly integrated into work packages, schedules, and material readiness plans.
Due to the nature of work Irving Shipbuilding does, all successful applicants must meet requirements for the Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP), Canadian Government Security clearance, and U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
This position requires a full‑time, in‑office presence.
